After last weeks focused sewing thanks to Annie, I have been thinking that maybe my usual approach (dithering from one project to another) needs a bit of an overhaul. So, this week is the week of dolls. Apart from adding selvedges to the Big Project I am going to sew dollies and clothes all week . Don't expect to see any marvellous results like last week - it is all far too fiddly for any massive

We are just at the end of a great Father's Day weekend. My sister and her family came for the weekend and also a friend, Jo braved the house full of many small girls. We had a nice day out in Nannup yesterday. I'm not sure what else we have done but eat. Lunch in Nannup yesterday. Lunch at the Cidery today. This weekend, we went to Sydney, because, you know, we never do that. That old trip up the Federal Highway is now so predictable, so well worn by us that I don't even bother taking photos for the blog any more. I just settle in for the ride and knit.
The point of this trip was so that Sean could go to a concert at Luna Park. When he told me he'd be going to see his favourite band, a few Swedish

The body of them were made with denim, sewn into a T-tunic, padded up with foam, and all painted. The heads were made out of paper mache!
I wore the smallest one, and it was originally only going to be MS wearing one, alo

Conversation with the Old Flame a few weeks ago-
OF (removing his elastic-sided boots): I'm going to have to get rid of these boots.
TAPH: Really? Why?
OF: They've stretched and are a bit too loose.
TAPH: Can't you take them into RM Williams' and have them fixed?
OF: I could ... or ...
TAPH: Or?
OF (smiling winsomely): Or I could wear thicker socks.

Welcome to Snapshot Sunday- The Groom's Edition! You're in for some bumper snapshot Sundays as Ms Polka Dot shares her favourite shots.Today I'm posting my favourite shots of the guys getting ready. It's Father's Day! Hurrah! It's also 4.50am - the Father in the house is fast asleep. As is the son who is not on a sleep-over. I am not asleep. I am UP. Why am I up? Well - apart from being a bit excited about all that is planned for the next week or so, I'm up because the cat that lay sleeping on my bed decided it was time for me to get up.
I'm also up because the Fridge With A Mind Of I

I received an email from my Mam tonight asking if my computer was broken since my blog has not changed in a week. Has it really been a week? My feet feel like they haven't touched the ground. What have i been up to? Well i finally have my access to Flickr fixed thanks to Amy! What a star that girl is, she spent ages on Gchat with me directing me until we figured out the problem, something
